kathleen hanna week

I've been listening to quite a lot of Kathleen Hanna based music recently and trying to get my pony tail higher - Kathleen style - go grrl. It made me think there should be some kind of underground Kathleen Hanna week...but until then a good summer song is to be found on her Julie Ruin album, called Stay starts "your love, you know it tastes so sweet as cold coconut ice- cream" - could be a good title for a print...hmmm.

Not sure my people drawing skills have improved that much, but I've drawn a few magazine covers recently for some stuff for Melanie Giles (coming soon to blog de lottie) and actual real life people (not looking much like themselves) for a newspaper for Howies/Do Lectures - and it's been fun!

Tee-hee photoshoots always fun with Phil and his assistant Phil (who's crazy socks feature in the bag pic)...all of the bags and tea towels will be available to buy from from mid august ish...there is a snow globe one waiting to be printed too (it's my new favourite).

we are sailing

I think the least said about my blogging absence the's some boats instead. I've been drawing a few more recently as I found the great book about coastal ships dans un charity well as post cards in Lyme Regis and actual real live tugs on my way to spike island (on the day I printed the ship in the bottle print)

boats from the book of boats!

it's tricky to take a pretty picture that shows up the embossed nature of the bottle - but it's embossed!
